Zett Aguado is trained in Fine Arts, and began writing fiction in 2001. Her work has appeared in print magazines in Mexico (Vallarta Voice and In & Out Magazine, translated to Spanish), Literary Potpourri, Small Spiral Notebook, Painted Moon Review, Eclectica, Vestal Review, Snow Monkey and The Paumanok Review. She is the 2001 National Short Story Winner for Mad Dog Publishing. Vestal Review nominated her story "My Earthquake" for the XXIX Pushcart Prize. She is an American citizen, having lived as an expatriate in the Middle East and Latin America. She currently resides in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic with her husband and daughter.
