Paul Alan Fahey, a recent retiree, has been writing fiction and nonfiction for the past 15 years. Before that time, he wrote articles for educational journals. Talk about ho-hum. Recently his short fiction received second and third place at the California Central Coast Writer's Conference and took first and second in nonfiction. His work has just appeared in an issue of Cup of Comfort and in Byline Magazine. He's lately been using screenplay techniques to improve his plot lines since his fiction is mainly literary and character-centered.
